Estuaries in New Zealand
Generally, different zones offer distinctly different aspects for interested groups to experience.

We see the effects of long shore drifting combined with river mouths.  We find estuaries at many places along the coasts of NZ and there are many throughout the world.

Studies teach us how estuaries are formed and change. We see various examples of these being used to enhance communities.
