We explore giant, round ball-shaped rocks formed as a result of a crystallisation processes beginning with a crustacean and developed with deep pressurised chemical reactions over millions of years. In a short few years these break up with the erosion of the sea and others fall from the banks. Maori legend explain these remarkable rocks as lost food for the gods. Interested groups can study the chemical aspects of these developments Big ones and - - - - - a little one! See also:- MORE on Coasts
