Shotover River - White-water
Rafting This is one of New Zealand's popular commercial rafting rivers because it is close to the world's Capital, exciting Queenstown. We enjoy a 1 hour on the river with 7 trilling rapids (up to grade 4). The trip includes floating through an old mining tunnel. Rafting is great? - Wait till you experience the thrilling scenic road into the famous canyon where it begins. You may wish to take an exciting helicopter ride to further enhance your experience. Note: Access to this river is sometime unavailable due to access closures On these occasions an alternative Kawarau River is used
