After being equipped with coat, boots and ice axe, we receive a safety briefing then a professional guide takes us safely onto the billion tonne glacier. 

Learning: While enjoying the breathtakingly surroundings, we learn about the nature of glaciers, geology, tectonics, erosion and the art of ice walking.
