In this high rainfall area many places where soils were destroyed by leaching after the forests were milled.

Study
We visit these areas sample the soil and learn about the factors that caused this leaching. We examine the costs involved, view attempts to enrich the soils for farming and see the natural processes of repair through native flora reclamation.
