Here the high mountain rivers follow large  glacier valleys. They still collect and carry vast quantities of bed-load material. We witness the power of steep fast flowing water carrying huge rocks from the uplifting mountains.

Studies
We see the various processes involved with the "upper courses" of various rivers. KANES  help us experience the extraordinary power of moving water and understand the processes involved with:- floods, controls, Irrigation, etc.  In this zone we follow rivers carving into glacier valleys, learn about the forces that cause the valley walls to collapse and see the material being transported away from the region.
