Alpine Trails Zone's     Geography Studies

Among the mountains there are a number of small lakes that add to the beauty of the area.  These are popular for recreational activities including fishing, boating and swimming.

In this zone we find lakes formed by transverse tectonic sliding and land slides.Interested groups investigate the processes involved and visit the relevant locations of the land movements.
