In the centre of Christchurch we find several institutions involved with art. We can see the classical art treasures of the zone in the new glass and aluminum, multi million dollar art gallery with its great paintings and art things. 

Often there are temporary displays. Here you will see more aspects of New Zealand culture through the depiction of ideals and deterrents.

Studies help us recognise an overview of local art. We can explore the  commercial arts and crafts at the markets where artists and craft people display and market their works.
