Adult Charter Groups
Available for groups travelling all over New Zealand.
Knowledgeable drivers are able to provide informative commentaries and
assist with the group activities. We fit in with the changing needs of
the group and changes that may occur.
School camps
Teachers are welcome to call on our experience to assist with camp
activities.
We can provide camp beds, sleeping bags, cooking equipment, easy non-waste menus,
food purchasing skills and camp cooking assistance that can be a helpful
saving of the leaders time. Note: to maintain a passenger service
licence all drivers require a police clearance every 5 years.
About us
Under the KANES banner we (Lloyd & Margaret Kane)
have worked
with our on-call staff
providing tours for international visitors since 1989. As parents
of 4 now grown up children we know the importance of a
safe, flexible operation. We have all attended local schools and Lloyd
has worked with other bus companies, spent some years doing part-time national service
(military reserve) with the medical sections, lead a local scout group, and
a ski club and assisted with our own children's schools camps as parent
helpers. While being a great mum to our growing family and their activities,
Margaret has been a power of strength for the (continuing) development the
business.
Today we are pleased to enjoy visits from several regular customers as
well as some a number of new ones. We continually strive to ensure the
experience they have with us is exciting and rewarding for their education
and budget.
Our student customers especially enjoy our adventures and our friends,
the teachers, are delighted at the new learning their students acquire for
their curriculum knowledge and life skills.

We are very grateful to local Timaru schools and
organisations who have hosted our groups on various occasions over the
years.
As our coach is now based in Timaru we are making it available for local
groups to use its comfort features for their own longer distant excursions.
