Known as the "most beautiful in the world" this is a must see.  From Te Anau we pass into New Zealand's World Heritage Area starting with the lakeside drive, rolling moraine deposits then three magnificent glacier valleys. 

 We enjoy pristine rivers, cascading water falls and lush dinosaur rainforests. Short breaks for you to stretch and explore some of the beauty on your own.  At the road's highest point you enter a breathtaking alpine cirque, surrounded by sheer granite walls. Walkers can travel for days to experience one of these ice carved wonders of nature.

In the snow season avalanches thunder down the sheer valley walls. At the precipitous rock barrier  a 1200 metre tunnel links us to yet another equally magnificent cirque with its many moods.
