We witness moving ice, gouging hundreds of tonnes of rock from the alps and delivering it to the rivers that carry it to the oceans,  every day.  

We explore close up the gigantic trenches soon after the ice has gone and witness towering vertical walls destabilied and collapsing.   A surreal experience.

Studies
By viewing these most aggressive erosion processes we understand the balances of the forces and see why there is so much dangerous instability in these areas and learn to both understand and identify these same processes in other parts of the world.
