 Objectives
To experience the several erosion processes combining their "attacks".

Situation
We witness moving ice, dislodging hundreds of tonnes of rock from the mountains every day by its grinding and plucking. We see these broken mountains transported by ice then rivers for many kilometres.   The retreating glaciers leave vertical valley walls unsupported and collapsing due to weathering and violent tectonic forces.   These enormous spectacular movements are surreal to witness.

Studies
By understanding these processes and forces you will see why there is so much dangerous instability in this area and learn to both understand and identify these same processes in other parts of the world.
