The Kea is unique in the world and the only mountain living parrot It is one of the 33 endangered birds of New Zealand birds. He often comes down from the high mountain tops to greet our visitors - and maybe snatch a camera, peck a windscreen wiper or steal a piece of food. This confident parrot has proven its self to be the world's most intelligent animal (after humans)
